Memorabilia has always been a big part of the music world, going back right back to the advent of record shops. Whether it was promotional only material that was distributed by labels, or weird and wonder items manufactured by the bands or labels for general sale, they make for nice collector’s pieces and can really finish off a collection.
We see all kind of memorabilia pass through our hands and below are just a few of the highlights that we have in stock at eil.com
The Fantomas Melvins Big Band – Tomorrow Belongs To Us: Autographed 2006 UK limited edition tri-colour concert lithograph for the show on the 1st May at The Forum in London, for the super-group featuring members of The Fantomas and the Melvins. This 24″ x 32″ print featuring fantastic Jermaine Rogers monsters design with an image of Vampire Paul McCartney with his arm around Vampire Yoko Ono. This has been signed by the full band line-up of Mike Patton, Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover, Trevor Dunn, Dave Lombardo and ‘Sir DSS’ David Scott Stone, along with Jermaine Rogers all in black marker pen, individually hand numbered 140/150. This has been stored rolled and displays only a little light creasing to the edges, which once framed will be hidden, a stunning item
Goo Goo Dolls – 2001 US Tour – Portait Backdrop: Rare 2001 US one-of-a-kind 45″ square backdrop, used during the tour and likely displayed at the merchandise stand. Featuring a great black & white image of the band members printed directly onto canvas, with metal eyelets around the edge aiding display at different venues. Annotated printer details along one edge confirm this to be unique ‘Copies 1 -1 Of 1′ dated ’03/09/01’. This has been stored folded for many years and there is one metal eyelet missing however this could easily be replaced, overall in really nice condition!
STEVEN WILSON Index – The Art Of Steven Wilson’s Music (Scarce 2015 UK limited deluxe edition 240 Page hardback book by Lasse Hoile & Carl Glover, featuring 340 photographs with 178 previously unseen images, illustrating the visual side of his albums covering the period from Porcupine Tree’s 2002 album In Absentia right up to my most recent (and probably most visually ambitious) album Hand. This edition was released to coincide with two concerts at the Royal Albert Hall on 28/29th September, cloth bound in the RAH colours of Red cover with gold embossed text.
