Peter Hook to Stream Performance of Every Joy Division Song to Mark the 40th Anniversary of Ian Curtis’ Death

Peter Hook will be streaming a performance of every Joy Division song to mark the 40th anniversary of the passing of their iconic vocalist, Ian Curtis.

The concert took place in 2015 at Christ Church in Macclesfield and it has been made into a three hour movie titled So This Is Permanent. It will steam on Youtube at 12pm BST on May 18th, and be available to view for 24 hours before a DVD release in June. Fans viewing will be encouraged to donate to the Epilepsy Society if they are able to.

Ian Curtis passed away on May 18th 1980, sadly taking his own life at the age of 23 after suffering with epilepsy and depression.
