Latest rare and collectable ’90s vinyl in stock, including Pearl Jam, My Bloody Valentine, Ash and more

For better or worse, the ‘90s will be remembered for a lot of iconic moments, but mostly it will be for the music. There was the rise of Brit Pop and the battle between Oasis and Blur, Nirvana bringing grunge to the mainstream and influencing an entire generation to wear a plaid shirt, the Spice Girls taking over the world, and Jarvis Cocker’s stage invasion during Michael Jackson’s performance at the Brit Awards.

While music was more popular than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.

We don’t always see that many collections of ‘90s vinyl here, but when we do, you can almost guarantee them to be of a high quality both in condition and content. Below are a few highlights we have in stock, and be sure to keep an eye on our latest arrivals.

PEARL JAM Vs (Sealed 1993 Dutch 12-track LP, the second album including the singles Go, Daughter, Animal & Dissident, title-stickered gatefold picture sleeve. This copy is still sealed from new in its vintage price-stickered shrinkwrap leaving it Mint and unplayed).

My Bloody Valentine Loveless - 1st - G vinyl LP album (LP record) UK MBVLPLO740674

MY BLOODY VALENTINE Loveless (Classic original 1991 UK 11-track vinyl LP with hand-scratched matrices that read: CRELP-060-A5 DMM ASL TOWNHOUSE 3 MAX / CRELP-060-B5 DMM ASL TOWNHOUSE 3 MAX. One of the greatest examples of early nineties British guitar rock, with warm fuzzy guitar cascades over menacing sexy vocals and is also famous for ‘bankrupting’ Creation Records when Shields’ perfectionism resulted in long delays in the studio. The results were worth it!! The first pressing isstill considered the best sounding version by hardcore fans. Glossy picture sleeve with illustrated inner. The sleeve has some light edge and spine wear plus it has the previous owners name and place of purchase written on the inside. The inner has a side seam split and cellotape repair. The vinyl has a number of surface scuffs and spindle marks, but it plays through with only the occastional click and minor surface noise, which does not detract from the overall sound quality. A very respectable copy offered at an advantageous price. Increasingly in demand & essential CRELP060).

ASH 1977 (1996 UK 12-track debut vinyl LP, including the singles Girl From Mars, Kung Fu, Goldfinger & Angel Interceptor, song hype stickered gatefold picture sleeve with illustrated credits inner and postcard.
