MILES DAVIS Bitches Brew (Classic & still controversial 1970 UK first issue plain orange label 6-track double LP, featuring recordings whose very sound, production methods, album-cover art, & two-LP length all signalled that jazz could never be the same again. The gatefold matte sleeve is the beautiful Mati Klarwein designed first issue cover. The sleeve has some edge scuffing, whilst the vinyl looks barely played. Just brilliant).
STANLEY TURRENTINE Never Let Me Go (1963 first US press 7-track deep groove mono LP on Blue Note’s ‘New York’ address label, with ‘Van Gelder’ stampers & ‘ear’ etchings in the run-outs, also featuring Shirley Scott, Major Holley Jr., Sam Jones, Al Harewood, Clarence Johnston & Ray Barretto on conga, pasted laminate picture sleeve with catalogue inner. The cover is in stunning condition with no writing, tears or cuts. The edges are nice & sharp, the panels are clean & the conditionis Excellent. The vinyl grades VG+/EX- with some faint axial wear & minor cosmetic signs of play BLP4129).
HOWARD RUMSEY Double Or Nothin’ (1962 Japanese 8-track LP pressed on Dark Red Coloured Vinyl, featuring the debut version of this glossy flipback picture sleeve which differs to the 1957 US first issue. The picture sleeve displays minor ringwear to both sides and very minor foxing to the reverse, the vinyl is in pristine, unplayed condition – a real treat! LBY-1012).
