ERNEST ANSERMET conducts L’ORCHESTRE DE LA SUISSE ROMANDE Delibes: Coppelia – Archive Quality 1959 UK first edition deep groove stereo 2-LP box set, on a wideband & unboxed Decca label with ‘Original Recording By’ perimeter print along the top of the labels. Comes housed in the original pasted, textured & front laminated 12″ picture box with gold lettering along the spine, ‘full frequency stereophonic sound’ die-cut inners & eight-page illustrated libretto booklet. This is a beautiful one owner example. The packaging & both vinyl discs are stunning Near Mint SXL2084-5

 

THE JULLIARD STRING QUARTET The “Haydn” Quartets Vol. 1 (Rare 1962 UK 8-track vinyl LP on the highly-collectable silver & turquiose Columbia label, front laminated flipback picture sleeve with the original poly-lined EMI inner. The sleeve shows light wear to the edges & corners, with a small area of flipback which has been torn and repaired; the reverse also shows a few small areas of discolouration with the text still legible, as is the spine. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned on a high-end machine and shows very little sign of play, save for a very faint hairline to Side One, which doesn’t appear to affect play, leaving the vinyl graded a confident Excellent. These records are prized for their high standard of reproduction and this copy is not found wanting SAX2470

JOAN SUTHERLAND with THE ORCHESTRA & CHORUS OF THE ROYAL OPERA HOUSE, COVENT GARDEN conducted by FRANCESCO MOLINARI-PRADELLI The Art Of The Prima Donna Vol. 2 – 1963 UK first edition wide band deep groove stereo LP, front laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just light shelfwear with some discolouration in places on the unlmainated back & the vinyl remains in excellent condition with just a few light surface scuffs to show for over fifty five years SXL2257
