Bruce Dickinson announces ‘An Evening With…’ European tour

From Planet Rock.

The Iron Maiden legend, airline pilot, beer brewer, motivational speaker, film scriptwriter, author, radio presenter, TV actor and international fencer will bring his spoken word show to 10 cities in October, November and December.

The tour opens in Zagreb, Croatia on Saturday 26th October and culminates at the 2,000 capacity National Stadium in Dublin on Friday 13th December. There are no UK dates at present.

As with previous ‘An Evening With Bruce Dickinson’ events, the show will be split into two separate parts.

The first half sees Bruce taking a humorous, often satirical look back at his colourful, roller-coaster life. Delivering compelling tales in his uniquely anarchic style and punctuated with photographs, he recounts anecdotes not just from the book, but others deemed either too risqué or otherwise to have made the final edit.

The second half of the evening is devoted entirely to a Q&A session, where fans’ quirky, frank and often completely leftfield questions are tackled with completely improvised – and invariably quick-witted – responses by Bruce.

Tickets are available to buy from Bruce’s official website now.

Iron Maiden will kick off the US & Canada leg of The Legacy of the Beast Tour at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida on Friday 18th July and wrap up at San Antonio AT&T Center in late September.

They then tour Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Chile in September and October, culminating with a massive sold-out show at Estadio Nacional in Santiago where their 2012 ‘En Vivo!’ album and concert film was filmed in 2011.
