Hip Hop has been a powerful force since its inception in the late ‘70s. From the early pioneers of street music, such as Grandmaster Flash, Kurtis Blow and The Sugarhill Gang, through the jazz and funk worship of A Tribe Called Quest and Digable Planets, or the aggressive rivalry between the East and West coasts of America during the ‘90s. What started out as something small became a movement and a revolution, that continues to be the voice of each generation with the ever shifting political and social tides.

DR DRE 2001 (Rare 1999 UK 22-track double vinyl LP, single pocket picture sleeve. Dre’s long awaited follow up updates the G-Funk sound with co-production from Lord Finesse and Mel-Man and guest spots from Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Eminem, Xzibit and more. The sleeve shows a little shelfwear and cornerwear, the vinyl is Excellent with just the odd light hairline to indicate play).

UNKLE Featuring KEATON HENSON First Time Ever I Saw Your Face (2014 UK limited edition one-sided 7″ vinyl single with a stamped label, within a white card sleeve with the original Unkle Pointmen logo in white glitter on the front. This was only available from the Unkle show at the Southbank Centre in London, for James Lavelle’s Meltdown festival on the 13th June 13 2014. This example remains in fantastic condition, the sleeve shows minimal wear whilst the vinyl has little signs of play SFTD002).

DE LA SOUL Buhloone Mindstate (Rare 1993 UK 15-track LP, the group’s third album & last to be produced with Prince Paul, guest starring Jazz-Funk veterans Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley & Pee Wee Ellis, Guru & more, picture sleeve. Both the sleeve& vinyl are Near Mint – a fantastic no-need to upgrade copy BLRLP25).
