Just in at eil Towers, some fantastic Police and related collectables.

For most of their history the band consisted of Sting (lead vocals, bass guitar, primary songwriter), Andy Summers (guitar) and Stewart Copeland (drums, percussion).

The Police became globally popular in the late 1970s and early 1980s and are generally regarded as one of the first new-wave groups to achieve mainstream success, playing a style of rock influenced by punk, reggae, and jazz. They are also considered one of the leaders of the Second British Invasion of the U.S.

They released five studio albums, two live albums, seven compilation albums, twelve video albums, four soundtrack albums, and 26 singles, selling over 100 million records world wide.  With each band member having a successful solo career.  They disbanded in 1986, but reunited in early 2007 for a one-off world tour that ended in August 2008.

THE POLICE Fall Out (1977 first UK issue of the debut 7″ single on a solid centre red label with black text & the original ‘Made In England – llegal Records Ltd’ perimeter text. Also includes Nothing Achieving, housed in a matt flipback picture sleeve with a tab cut on the back. The sleeve shows some light general wear with a very small split at the bottom, whilst the the vinyl remains Excellent with minimal play IL001)
THE POLICE Voices Inside My Head (Rare 1980 US white title label promotional vinyl 12″ for the song taken from ‘Zenyatta Mondatta’, also including When The World Is Running Down, You Make The Best Of What’s Still Around, plain die-cut card sleeve with hand annotated titles on the front. The vinyl remains excellent with only light signs of play SP-17137)
THE POLICE Official File (Rare complete set of all Twenty ‘The Police – Official File’ fan club magazines numbers 1-20 dating from May 1980 – December 1981, each A5 sized and have 32-pages featuring articles, interviews, ‘Police Mail’ letters page, song lyrics and lots of colour/black & white photographs. The collection remains in great shape with just some occasional corner wear & light creases)
