The Weekly Top 3 affordable vinyl rarities including The Doors, Elton John, Deep Purple and more

Here at eil.com we realise not everyone’s pockets are so deep they can stump up the readies for that uber-collectable slab of vinyl, CD boxset, vintage memorabilia etc. With that in mind, we’ve put together this new weekly ‘Top 3’ of some of the more affordable collectables that pass through our doors each week, and no item will be more than £50. Check out more bargains in our store now.

The Doors – Absolutely Live: 80s German issue of the classic 1970 9-track double live LP, glossy gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve has just a little edgewear and some light creasing to the top right corner, whilst the vinyl has the odd light signof play only).

Elton John – Goodbye Yellow Brick Road – Speckled Translucent Red Vinyl – EX: 1973 UK 17-track double LP pressed on tinted & speckled red vinyl with a greyish outer rim [only visible when held up to a strong light source], housed in a tri-fold picture sleeve with lyrics across the inner spread [later issues were standard gatefold]. The sleeve shows minimal wear and the vinyl has a few light scuffs leaving it Excellent

Deep Purple – Who Do We Think We Are: Late 70s UK Purple Records 7-track vinyl LP with ‘EMI Records…’ label text and featuring the classic track Woman From Tokyo, laminated gatefold picture sleeve with lyric insert. The sleeve has only light edgewear and the vinyl shows few signs of play
