For better or worse, the ‘90s will be remembered for a lot of iconic moments, but mostly it will be for the music. There was the rise of Brit Pop and the battle between Oasis and Blur, Nirvana bringing grunge to the mainstream and influencing an entire generation to wear a plaid shirt, the Spice Girls taking over the world, and Jarvis Cocker’s stage invasion during Michael Jackson’s performance at the Brit Awards.
While music was more popular than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.

Slowdive – Just For A Day: 1991 UK 9-track vinyl LP, the classic debut album from Rachel Goswell & co. Complete with the illustrated credits inner, the glossy picture sleeve shows just light shelfwear to the edges and despite some cosmetic & surface scuffs showing evidence of play, the vinyl remains in VG condition!
PJ Harvey – Rid Of Me: Rare 1992 UK 14-track vinyl LP, including the singles 50ft Queenie and Man-Size, picture sleeve complete with picture inner. The sleeve shows just some very light discolouration and minimal shelfwear, however, the vinyl issuperb and shows minimal evidence of play. Hard to find in any condition!
Pavement – Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain: Scarce 1994 UK limited edition 11-track vinyl LP, their second studio album featuring the singles Cut Your Hair, Gold Soundz & Range Life and also comes complete with the bonus vinyl 7″ including Haunt You Down and Jam Kids. The custom-stickered glossy picture sleeve comes complete with the picture / credit inner and fold-out Big Cat catalogue insert, while both vinyl discs appear in excellent condition with only light signs of play
