JOHN COLTRANE Coltrane In Japan (1973 Japanese-only 5-track triple LP box set, featuring an award winning performance recorded live at Kosei Nenkin Hall in Tokyo on 22nd July 1966 by the Coltrane Quintet, also starring Pharoah Sanders, Alice Coltrane, Jimmy Garrison & Rashied Ali. Each disc is in its own respective picture sleeve, complete with an eight-page Japanese booklet, all housed in a 12" pasted box with the 'Jazz Right Now' obi-strip. There is a bonus 'seal of approval' shaped sticker attached to the front of the box as well as a green 'Jazz Disc Award Winning' sticker attached to the obi. The box grades GOOD with scuffs & multiple paper fractures around the edges but remains intact. The vinyl is clean & in Excellent condition with minimal play IMR-9036C)
