The Who – Dance Session: Super Rare 1966 Australian 4-track 7″ mono EP, released exclusively on Festival Records in Australia only. The label is black, white & blue & solid centre. The record features four classics from the My Generation album -The Kids Are Alright, It’s Not True, A Legal Matter & La-La-La Lies – & comes housed in a unique blue tinted picture sleeve with a fantastic in-action shot of the group from ’65. The cover is silk laminated with flipbacks & the design is surely the best sleeve artwork on 45 from down under for The Who of this period, & this is the first time we have being able to track one down. The cover is carefully graded VG+ with secure flipbacks, clean panels & tight laminate. There is a very faint & faded name annotation to a back corner & the artwork remains vivid & sharp. The only other minor blemishes are a small pinched crease mark to the spine & some very mild & natural foxing to the back panel barely noticeable. Both sides of the label have a small name annotation repeated three times, unobtrusive to the print & the vinyl is nice & clean with a deep sheen. The vinyl grades a strong VG+ revealing the lightest couple of paper hairline scuffs not affecting play – wonderful! We consider this to be a serious, bluechip Mod collectable that will hold its value for a lifetime.

Blazers – On Fire: Sealed Garage Rock 1967 US-only private press 12-track LP, as featured in Patrick Lundborg’s ‘The Acid Archives: Underground Sounds 1965-1982’ rarities book, where The Blazers are described as an ‘obscure Southern teen-band’.This holy grail record was limited to just 1000 copies on release. This copy was obtained direct from the personal archive of keyboardist Danny Davenport, one of the group’s founding members. The pasted picture sleeve is Near Mint with no deletioncuts, & this example is still sealed from new. The vinyl is Mint & unplayed over half a century on!

The Iveys – Maybe Tomorrow: Impossibly rare 1969 Japanese Apple white label promotional sample issue of the 12-track stereo vinyl LP with label text showing the Japanese characters for ‘promotional’ & ‘not for sale’ as well as the release date. This is highly sought after by collectors as the UK release was withdrawn prior to its July 1969 release date and it was only issued in parts of Europe and Japan, pasted picture sleeve with Apple black die-cut inner
