Dick’s Picks: The excellent debut album from Counting Crows, August and Everything After

Released in 1993, August and Everything After is the debut studio album by American rock band, Counting Crows.

The album spawned several hit singles, including Mr. Jones, Rain King and Round Here. It was a coming of age record for primiary songwriter, Adam Duritz, examining his own and lives of others, while the music was dripping in California sunshine.

The original issue has a glossy picture sleeve with picture/lyric printed paper inner. Its a no frills affair with nothing fancy about the release, but it is incredibly hard to find due to the downturn in vinyl during the early to mid nineties.
