Latest rare and collectable ’90s vinyl in stock, including Neil Young, Black Crowes, Bad Religion and more

For better or worse, the ‘90s will be remembered for a lot of iconic moments, but mostly it will be for the music. There was the rise of Brit Pop and the battle between Oasis and Blur, Nirvana bringing grunge to the mainstream and influencing an entire generation to wear a plaid shirt, the Spice Girls taking over the world, and Jarvis Cocker’s stage invasion during Michael Jackson’s performance at the Brit Awards.

While music was more popular than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.

We don’t always see that many collections of ‘90s vinyl here, but when we do, you can almost guarantee them to be of a high quality both in condition and content. Below are a few highlights we have in stock, and be sure to keep an eye on our latest arrivals

Neil Young – Harvest Moon: 1992 German first press 10-track LP, the twentieth studio album by Canadian musician featuring Such A Woman arranged by Jack Nitzsche, glossy picture sleeve with embossed Warner logo on the back & illustrated lyric inner. The sleeve is Excellent with just a faint edge crease & the vinyl grades Excellent with very few signs of play. An ideal copy of this hard to find 90s pressing

Black Crowes – Amorica: 1994 UK limited edition 12-track LP pressed on White Vinyl in Germany for the UK market, including bonus track Tied Up & Swallowed, complete with illustrated lyric inner, controversal picture sleeve. The sleeve is Excellent showing minimal shelfwear & the vinyl remains in near ‘as new’ condition

Bad Religion – Generator: 1992 US 11-track vinyl LP, the sixth studio album by the Amercian punk rock band and their first release with drummer Bobby Schayer, including the single Atomic Garden; picture sleeve with lyric printed insert. The sleeve displays some minor wear mostly to the edges and the vinyl shows only light signs of play. This example also includes a rare flyer advertising the groups four UK tour dates along with a ticket stub for their show on the 19th July 1993 at the Forum in London
