Bob Marley – Survival: Super Rare & Original October 1979 UK promotional poster measuring 37″ x 24″, issued to advertise the album ‘Survival’ which was released on the 2nd of October 1979 through the Tuff Gong label. This incredible design layout was put together by Neville Garrick & Brad Kanawyer, with a centred black & white photograph image of Bob Marley taken by Adrian Booth next to a quote from the song ‘Africa Unite’. This righteous image is surrounded by a border of 52 Africanstate flags with a footnote for each one, with the 53rd left blank for the possible inclusion of Zimbabwe. The song ‘Zimbabwe’ from the album was dedicated to later independent Rhodesia & was performed at Zimbabwe’s independence celebration in 1980. This exceptionally rare & desirable original poster is in Excellent condition & remains unused without pin or staple holes, unbacked with no rips or tears or writing & merely the lightest few signs of handling at the corners, stored rolled & one of its kind £295
Ten Years After – Ten Years After 1967-1974: 2018 UK limited edition 50th Anniversary Ten CD box set, relesed to coincide with the eponymous debut release in 1967, this fantastic set featuring the band’s first nine albums along with a bonus disc of unreleased material. The disc’s are housed inside a luxury hardback book which includes a newly commissioned, in-depth 10,000 word sleeve notes written by legendary Melody Maker journalist and early champion of the band, Chris Welch, within a picture card slipcase. This set was available through Pledge Music and was limited to 1,500 copies, however this example also includes an A2 sized art print/lithograph printed on 305gsm Hahnemule Photo Rag Ultra Smooth 100% Cotton Rag, pH Neutral, Acid Free art paper, signed by Chick Churchill, Ric Lee and Leo Lyons, alongside a facsimile of Alvin Lee’s autograph £295
Moody Blues – Timeless Flight: The Voyage Continues: 2013 UK limited edition 17-disc [11-CDs/3-DVDs/3-Audio DVDs] box set. This career-spanning box contains ELEVEN CDs of career highlights, rarities and live recordings including the previously unreleased live concert from Olympia, Paris in 1970; THREE DVDs of promo and TV appearances and THREE Surround Sound Audio DVDs [Days Of Future Past/On The Threshold Of A Dream, To Our Children’s Children’s Children/A Question Of Balance and EveryGood Boy Deserves Favour/Seventh Sojourn. Also includes a 120-page fully-illustrated hardback book with previously unseen photographs printed on heavweight paper, 20″ x 30″ full colour poster, Threshold ‘Press Pack’, replica 1974 tour programme and Timeless Flight fabric patch. Housed in a beautifully designed, heavy duty LP-sized picture slipcase box.
