Latest rare and collectable ’90s vinyl in stock, including Slayer, Marillion, KLF and more

For better or worse, the ‘90s will be remembered for a lot of iconic moments, but mostly it will be for the music. There was the rise of Brit Pop and the battle between Oasis and Blur, Nirvana bringing grunge to the mainstream and influencing an entire generation to wear a plaid shirt, the Spice Girls taking over the world, and Jarvis Cocker’s stage invasion during Michael Jackson’s performance at the Brit Awards.

While music was more popular than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.

We don’t always see that many collections of ‘90s vinyl here, but when we do, you can almost guarantee them to be of a high quality both in condition and content. Below are a few highlights we have in stock, and be sure to keep an eye on our latest arrivals.

Slayer – Divine Intervention: Rare 1994 UK 10-track vinyl LP manufactured in Holland, with picture sleeve and lyric inner. The first album by the iconic thrash band to feature drummer Paul Bostaph, and includes some of Slayers darkest lyric contentwith songs about Reinhard Heydrich and Jeffery Dahmer such as Killing Fields, and live favourite Dittohead; with a lyric printed inner & glossy picture sleeve. The sleeve displays only a little light wear, whilst the vinyl shows very little signs of play, a fantastic example of this hard to find 90s pressing

Marillion – Afraid Of Sunlight: 1995 UK limited edition 8-track LP, the eighth studio album from the British Neo Prog group, glossy picture sleeve with glossy lyric inner. The cover shows minimal shelf wear & the vinyl is Near Mint with few signs of play. An outstanding copy of this now hard to find nineties pressing.

KLF – The White Room: 1991 UK 9-track vinyl LP including 3 a.m. Eternal, Last Train To Trancentral and What Time Is Love?. Complete with illustrated credits inner which has the start of a minor seam split to the bottom edge, the song hype-stickered picture sleeve has minimal shelfwear, whilst the vinyl appears in EX condition with only minor signs of play.
