MC5 – Kick Out The Jams: Extremely Rare Archive Quality 1969 Japanese first press 8-track debut live LP on the blue Elektra ‘guitar player’ label, featuring the uncensored version of the classic title track. Comes housed in a deluxe picture sleeve complete with the super rare & limited wraparound ‘Series No. 7’ full cover die-cut “obi” [the Japanese title is printed “‘Kick Out Of The Jams'”] & NO lyric insert, exactly how these Japanese original pressings were first issued. The sleeve, obi & vinyl are all stunning NEAR MINT with no signs of foxing, a near impossible achievement. There is one tiny blemish of note, which is VERY difficult to spot, even when we tell you what it is. If you look ever so closely to the die-cut sleeve, the most delicate part of the package, there is a tiny 5mm toe part of the ‘K’ missing [yes, it’s a real eye puzzle!]. All in all, a beautiful investment piece. We guarantee you won’t see one as nice as this on the market for many, many years… £1795

The Who – Exciting: Extremely rare 1968 Japanese only 10-track stereo vinyl compilation LP, complete with lyric insert, unique pinched spine fully silk laminated scalloped flipback picture sleeve with Japanese sleeve notes on the reverse. Being mostly white, the sleeve does show a degree of age yellowing and shelfwear is light with the spine still clearly readable. The insert too shows only light signs of age and remains free from rips or tears. The labels both have only a couple of spindle marks and the vinyl shows minimal signs of play with no obvious defects. A very nice copy of this incredibly hard to find pressing in a far above average condition! £795

KISS – Gene Simmons / Ace Frehley / Peter Criss / Paul Stanley: Incredibly rare complete set of four original 1979 Japanese Picture Disc LPs of the solo albums. Each disc feature the full colour album cover portrait on the A-side with a comic book-style picture on the reverse, all still housed within a glossy die-cut picture sleeve with an illustrated 4-page Japanese text biography/lyric insert. These may not have the obi-strips, but they are almost impossible to find in any way, shape or form, and remain in a fantastic condition. An absolute must for the serious Kiss Kollector £550
