Latest rare and collectable ’90s vinyl in stock, including Oasis, Bob Dylan, Michael Jackson and more

For better or worse, the ‘90s will be remembered for a lot of iconic moments, but mostly it will be for the music. There was the rise of Brit Pop and the battle between Oasis and Blur, Nirvana bringing grunge to the mainstream and influencing an entire generation to wear a plaid shirt, the Spice Girls taking over the world, and Jarvis Cocker’s stage invasion during Michael Jackson’s performance at the Brit Awards.

While music was more popular than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.

We don’t always see that many collections of ‘90s vinyl here, but when we do, you can almost guarantee them to be of a high quality both in condition and content. Below are a few highlights we have in stock, and be sure to keep an eye on our latest arrivals.

Oasis – (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? 1995 UK second issue 13-track double vinyl LP with ‘MPO’ and hand scratched matrices in the run-out grooves, including the hit singles Roll With It, Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back In Anger and Champagne Supernova, great tri-fold picture sleeve complete with lyrics to all songs and plain black glossy inners. The sleeve shows minimal shelfwear & the vinyl remains near ‘as new’ with few signs of play £125

Bob Dylan – Good As I Been To You: Rare 1992 US 13-track LP, comprising entirely of folk songs and covers, this album is Dylan’s 28th studio endeavour and was his first solo studio album since Another Side Of Bob Dylan from 1964. The picture sleeve has no deletion cuts. There is a split in the shrink along the bottom & a small sticker tear in the shrink top left, otherwise this collector’s copy remains unopened & unplayed. This copy was exported to Japan with a Japanese Columbia licensing sticker attached to the outer shrink, & was recently picked up by our expert buyer in Japan £150

Michael Jackson – Blood On The Dance Floor:  1997 Dutch pressed 13-track double vinyl LP manufactured for the European market, featuring 76 minutes of remixes by The Refugee Camp, David Morales, Frankie Knuckles and Todd Terry, housed in a glossypicture sleeve with hype sticker on reverse and complete with the original lyric printed paper innners. The sleeve displays some minor wear and has a small split on the spine, both inners also have a similar split, however the vinyl displays little signs of play. Although not mint, this is still a really nice example of this hard to find pressing £150
