Alternative rock is a pretty broad term to use, but it seems more all-encompassing than using hardcore or post-hardcore when describing some of our latest arrivals here. We certainly wouldn’t want to give them the dreaded ’emo’ tag, that’s for sure.
After an influx of rare and collectable alternative rock, spanning ’90s classics right through to the current wave of artists doing the rounds, here are a few highlights from the world of alternative rock we have in stock now. You can search for your favourite artists over in our store.
Johnny Foreigner – Johnny Foreigner vs Everything: 2011 UK limited edition 17-track double vinyl LP, with gatefold picture sleeve and printed insert. Out of print third album from the British indie rock band, including the beloved tracks [Don’t] Show Us Your Fangs and Hulk Hoegaarden, Gin Kinsella, David Duvodkany, Etc. The sleeve has very slight corner creasing to the opening edge, but the vinyl appears unplayed and in near ‘as new’ condition £25
The Mars Volta – Tremulant EP: Rare 2002 US 3-track vinyl 12″, pressed on yellow vinyl, with picture sleeve and insert that has both the lyrics and photograph of the band. Debut EP from Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez’ post-At The Drive-In outfit, featuring Cut That City, Concertina and Eunuch Provocateur. Long out of print and incredibly hard to find on vinyl, this copy does show some minor creasing to the sleeve, but the vinyl is unplayed and in near ‘as new’ condition £45
Pavement – Terror Twilight: 1999 UK 11-track vinyl LP, the fifth & final studio album released by the American indie rock band, illustarted credits inner with picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light edge wear whilst the vinyl shows little evidence of play £40
