The sleeve shows just a littlelight shelfwear with minor corner creasing & the vinyl remains excellent with few signs of play – A gem! £125

Thelonious Monk – More Genius Of Thelonious Monk: Rare limited edition 1985 Japanese-only 12-track mono vinyl LP compilation, part of the ‘The Other Side Of BLP 1500’ series of Blue Note rarities and re-releases issued by Toshiba EMI, Japan in theeighties. Contains ‘Alternate Masters’ of Monk’s legendary first recorded session for the label in 1947 plus two takes of ‘Sixteen’ from 1952. Albert Ayler – New York Eye & Ear Control: 1966 US three-part stereo LP on the New York based Avant-Garde & Free-Jazz label, ESP-Disk, recorded July 17th, 1964, by New York artist Michael Snow for use as the soundtrack to his film. Also stars Don Cherry, John Tchicai, Roswell Rudd, Gary Peacock & Sonny Murray, great pasted picture sleeve with label catalogue pictorial on the back. This copy originates from the private collection of a former staff member for Dobells record shop in Charing Cross.
