New ’90s based festival heading for Knebworth

A new festival is heading for the historic Knebworth Park later this year, and it is going to be filled with ’90s nostalgia.

Cool Brittania will feature headling performances from Happy Mondays and Ocean Colour Scene between August 31 – 2 September. Also appearing are Embrace, The Lightning Seeds, Peter Hook & The Light, Cast, M People‘s Heather Small, Dodgy, Space, Toploader, and The South – with more due to be added in the coming months.

The even will also host a Britpop Classical performance, featuring a full orchestra and guest vocalists, including Peter Hooton of The Farm, Glen Gregory from Heaven 17, and Republica’s Saffron. Cool Brittania will also celebrate dance music from the era, with sets by Jazzie B, Rozalla, Urban Cookie Collective, Black Box, Alison Limerick and more as they take to the Ministry of Sound stage.

Tickets for the event will go on sale February 2nd.
