Velvet Underground to release 50th Anniversary box set

Velvet Underground have announced the release of a new vinyl box set as part of the bands 50th anniversary celebrations.

It will include the bands first four albums between 1967 and 1970, as well as Nico’s solo album, Chelsea Girl. It is due for release on February 23 and comes with a 48 page booklet that includes vintage photographs, and a foreword by Velvet Underground drummer, Maureen Tucker. It will be limited to 1000 copies.
