Billy Corgan has unveiled a psychedelic short film, Pillbox, which features music from his latest solo album, Ogilala.
The silent movie was written and directed by Corgan, along with his longtime collaborator, Linda Strawberry. Pillbox is said to tell the story of a couple forced apart by the man heading off to war.
“I thought it was a different approach to listening to an album, to watch it in essence with a related, albeit non-linear, silent movie,” Corgan said of the movies connection to Ogilala. “Art is art. And together the two pieces create a work unto itself.”
