Tie to in with the 25th anniversary release of their classic album, Core, Stone Temple Pilots have given gone through the album track-by-track over at Rolling Stone.
“We were all really shoulder to shoulder prior to making that record,” said guitarist Dean Deleo in the interview. “The four of us were in the rehearsal room at least five days a week. There was such a newness in the air, and with newness comes excitement.”
The expanded reissue of Core is released in October, and features a remastered issue of the album, along with demos and unreleased tracks and their MTV Unplugged set. It also comes with a remastered 180gram LP of the album, and a 5:1 surround sound DVD.
