Record Store Day is an annual event inaugurated in 2007 and held on one Saturday every April.
The day brings together fans & artists, with a number of records pressed specifically for the event, with a unique list of releases for each country.
We currently stock some really nice rarities with some dating back from the very first event.

2014 exclusive US-only Record Store Day exclusive limited edition 7-inch box set. Limited to 1000 individually hand-numbered copies, this set features ten classic ZTT 7″ vinyl single records spanning the Thirty year history, each in replica artwork sleeves. Includes for the first time ZAMBIENT TWO featuring Heights Of Abraham & Lisa Stansfield, Andrew Poppy 32 Frames and the legendary withdrawn Chance single by ACT. The booklet includes intro and track-by-track commentary. This RSD exclusive remains factory sealed from new and is hand-numbered on the back. Bingo!
TRANSFORMERS The Movie: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
2015 US ‘Black Friday’ Record Store Day limited edition etched double LP pressed on Red Vinyl, etched with the Autobot logo & Purple Vinyl with the Decepticon logo. Featuring the original soundtrack to the 1986 movie, which featured the voices of Eric Idle, Leonard Nimoy and Orson Welles, including the song Dare To Be Stupid by ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic; special transforming spot lacquered fold-out picture sleeve which remains factory sealed in the stickered shrink. Limited to only 5000 copies Worldwide.
METALLICA No Life ’til Leather
2015 UK issue limited edition 7-track Cassette issued exclusively for Record Store Day 2015, featuring the digitally remastered compilation of demos recorded in July 1982 inTustin, CA by the band’s original lineup of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Dave Mustaine & Ron McGovney, printed stickered grey cassette shell with a standard cassette case title sleeve, still sealed from new.
MARC BOLAN Electric Sevens 2 – At The BBC
Rare Set Of Test Pressings for the Limited Edition 2014 UK Record Store Day FOUR x 7″ vinyl set, featuring archive recordings drawn from three BBC Top Gear sessions from May 1969 to October 1970, as well asrarities like the Woodland Bop (Medley) for John Peel’s Sunday Concert on the 10th of December 1970 & three instrumental backing tracks mixed for the Radio 1 Club on the 2nd of March 1971. Each part boasts a plain white label with only ‘sideA’ printed detail & each record is housed in a plain die-cut reference sleeve. These were pressed in tiny amounts purely to test the sonics & were never intended for sale to the public!
