Madonna has been the undisputed Queen of pop for over three decades, and her rabid fan base shows no signs of slowing down. We recently picked up a large Madonna collection that included some excellent vinyl rarities we haven’t seen for a long time, and some weird and wonderful memorabilia that even the most die-hard collectors may be surprised at.
Below are a few highlights from this excellent collection, and you can see more items in our Madonna collectors store.
Madonna – Confessions Tour: Website exclusive tour bundle, from a fans collection who attended the show at Wembley Areana on the 28th June. Includes a copy of the 2006 UK 56 page 9¼” x 13¼” tour programme with bonus sheet of exclusive stickers featuring silhouetted Madonna & horse shapes, still attached in the centre, with a custom lilac plastic carrier with pink artist/title logos, ticket stub, sheet of stickers, wrist sweat band, two sets of five pin badges attached to backing card, aflashing badge (still working) with magnet on the back and a large sized fan club t-shirt within a metal & card logo tin. But that is not all, this bundle also includes a golden balloon printed with the tour logo, this was grabbed by the previous owner whilst they were at the front of the gig and was only available at during the shows.
Madonna – Nesting Dolls: Rare 2004 US strictly limited edition officially licensed Boy Toy Russian nesting doll, individually numbered authentic wooden handmade & hand painted, manufactured by Newcrafters Nesters and were only available from her official website. Featuring four-in-one dolls with a different phase of her career on each, still housed in the original box and wrapped inside in tissue, complete with the certificate of authenticity.
Madonna – Something To Remember: Rare 1995 UK 14-track compilation vinyl LP pressed in Germany for the UK market, composed mostly of ballads spanning Madonna’s career with a revised version of Love Don’t Live Here Anymore, along with You’ll See, One More Chance, a cover of Marvin Gaye’s I Want You & guest stars, Massive Attack. The sleeve shows little of its age & the vinyl looks barely played.
Madonna – Like A Prayer: 1989 US promotional 6-track 12″ for the single release, taken from the eponymous album, featuring the otherwise unreleased 6:11 Instra Dub Mix & 5:48 Bass Dub Mix along with the 7:50 12″ Dance Mix, 6:35 12″ Club Version,4:40 Dub Beats & 5:41 7″ Remix/Edit, superb custom picture sleeve. Both sleeve & vinyl are near mint.
