The organisers of Vinyl Festival announce:

“Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we’ve had to make the difficult decision to cancel the Vinyl Festival due to take place on 23rd and 24th September . It’s been a tough decision to make but sometimes even with the best laid plans these things happen.

For those of you that have purchased tickets you will be refunded through the sites in which you booked them within the next 14 working days.”

Both eil.com and 991.com will still be buying so if you have items to sell and want a free appraisal, get in touch by email, phone or website chat. Check our site for future events where our buyers will be in attendance here

In September, the team behind the monthly magazine, Long Live Vinyl, will host The Vinyl Festival, a two-day event dedicated to all things vinyl. It is a celebration of authentic music listening, bringing together the high street, record fairs, and independent companies and labels under one roof in what will no doubt be a very special weekend.

eil.com, and sister site 991.com, have long supported Long Live Vinyl & Classic Pop Magazines and we’re excited to announce that we will be attendance all weekend. We’ll have buyers on hand to appraise for free, and buy your records, on the day. Top prices are paid for top condition collectables so if you have any rare vinyl, such as collectable classic rock and pop, prog, psych, punk, metal, indie, modern jazz etc from the early ‘60s to current day, you can find us at table 5 across the weekend.

The Vinyl Festival will also feature several guests across the weekend for live interviews and DJ sets, who have all been known to champion their love of vinyl. Long-running and influential DJs Steve Lamacq and Edith Bowman will be there, along with Tim Burgess of The Charlatans, and Fun Lovin’ Criminals very own Huey Morgan. There will also be some non-vinyl related product available, serving street food and the finest craft beer,

The event takes place at The Printworks, Surrey Quays, London across the weekend of September 23 – 24. Tickets and all relevant travel information can be found on The Vinyl Festival website.
