FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD Photograph by John Stoddart – Holly & Paul: Recently featured in the National Museums Liverpool Pride & Prejudice LGBT+ collection, this is an original large format black & white photographic print by John Stoddart. The photograph features Holly and Paul wearing leather S & M gear, posed provactively! Frankie became infamous when their first single, ‘Relax’ was banned by the BBC in 1983 for its overtly sexual lyrics and homoerotic video which was set in agay BDSM club populated by Leathermen and drag queens. Unframed, the overall dimensions are 85cm x 86cm with a medium format image size of 74cm x 76cm. This rare example has come direct from John Stoddart and has been signed by him on the front. PENTANGLE The Pentangle: Rare Debut 1968 UK first issue 8-track stereo LP on the purple & white ‘globe’ label, a classic British folk record, fully laminated picture sleeve with the ‘floating’ style laminate & printed with album notes from an enthusiastic John Peel on the reverse. The sleeve is Excellent with some light ring wear & a little minor laminate lift along the spine whilst the vinyl remains excellent with only a few light signs of play, more info here
STATUS QUO Quantity Of Seven Inch Singles: The mighty Quo! They have been going for over fifty years, formed in 1962 under the name The Scorpions then changed to The Spectres, by 1967 the group had discovered psychedelia and named themselves Traffic Jam, it wasn’t until 1967 when they became Status Quo, releasing their first single a year later, the rest, as they say is history.
This exclusive bundle features 35, yes Thirty Five 7″ vinyl singles from the period between 1972 to 1992, all vinyl has been carefully inspected and remains in excellent or better grade condition, more info here
