FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD Photograph by John Stoddart – Holly & Paul:Recently featured in the National Museums Liverpool Pride & Prejudice LGBT+ collection, this is an original large format black & white photographic print by John Stoddart. The photograph features Holly and Paul wearing leather S & M gear, posed provactively! Frankie became infamous when their first single, ‘Relax’ was banned by the BBC in 1983 for its overtly sexual lyrics and homoerotic video which was set in agay BDSM club populated by Leathermen and drag queens. Unframed, the overall dimensions are 85cm x 86cm with a medium format image size of 74cm x 76cm. This rare example has come direct from John Stoddart and has been signed by him on the front.
