Watch this! Take a virtual trip around this vintage 1964 Rolling Stones tour programme……

Superb short clip of an incredible, vintage 1964 Rolling Stones tour programme – thrill as they prepare to play the dizzy heights of Weston-Super-Mare, Weymouth and Torquay! Learn amazing new facts; did you know that economics student Jagger had ” no idea of economics”, although he’s done alright since no? Or prepare to have your mind frazzled as you discover that Keith Richards once worked in a post office (yes really) or even that Charlie Watts has over “one hundred handkerchiefs”….actually not that surprising that one….

What a night it must have been, with the Barron Knights on the bill too (ask yer Mum & Dad), Long John Baldrey, Millie and not forgetting the Paramounts whose version of the Coasters ‘Poison Ivy’ is a bit of a classic too! Seriously what a find, needless to say vintage Stones memorabilia doesn’t appear very often and we are proud to offer it for sale.

We know it says 1965 at the beginning of the clip but everything points to this being in 1964 as it carries an advert for the Stones, then current ’45, ‘It’s All Over Now’ which was out in ’64….for more info click here and don’t forget to check the Rolling Stones Collectors Store at eil.com, to see our huge range of Stones rarities: vinyl, CDs, memorabilia and more…
