MODERN JAZZ QUARTET Under The Jasmin Tree: Rare original early 1970s Australian edition of the 1968 Apple label 4-track STEREO vinyl LP, issued exclusively down under by the World Record Club and housed in a unique front laminated picture sleeve with an olive green tinted image of the Quartet looking very cool indeed. The sleeve shows only the very faintest signs of wear and the vinyl looks barely played, retaining a wonderful shine over 35 years on – a real beauty! More info here

RITA REYS & THE PIM JACOBS TRIO featuring KENNY CLARKE Jazz Pictures At An Exibition: Limited Edition 2006 Japanese 180gram Remastered Vinyl issue of the very rare 1961 10-track mono LP, originally a Dutch only release recorded at the Singer Concert Hall in Laren, Holland on October 12, 1961, with Wim Overgaauw on guitar & Pim’s brother Ruud Jacobs on bass. Comes housed in a beautiful deluxe silk laminated replica of the picture sleeve with Japanese insert & obi-strip. Jazz vocal heaven with Rita & Pim forming the perfect pair, a fact mirrored in their real-life marriage, more info here

CHARLES MINGUS The Black Saint & The Sinner Lady: Rare 1963 first US press 6-track stereo LP, a modern jazz classic & Mingus’ magnum opus of multi-layered & far-reaching genius. This is the first press black label with red rim & multi-colouredImpulse! box logo, with ‘Stereo’ & ‘RVG’ machine stamped in the run-outs. Comes housed in a thick heavyweight pasted & front laminated gatefold sleeve with the original catalogue inner bag. This rarity was obtained from a one previous owner collection. Both the cover & vinyl are virtually near mint. More info here
