BADFINGER Finest Moments: One of the rarest official items available on Apple, this is the withdrawn 1989 Australian only 16-track ‘Best Of’ LP that ended up with just ten copies pressed for review purposes. According to The Apple Log book, the album was assembled by someone from EMI who wanted a ‘Best of’ Badfinger LP. …sleeves were printed, just a 12″ insert printed on greenpaper, declaring the album to be ‘A Memorial To Pete Ham, Tom Evans And Mal Evans’. All tracks are from master tapes except ‘Without You’ which was clearly taken from vinyl. The insert sheet is near ‘as new’ & the vinyl near mint – this copy originally came directly from a senior executive at EMI Australia! More info here

THE BEATLES Tomorrow Never Knows: Very rare 2012 UK 14-track promotional-only LP on heavyweight audiophile vinyl with a nice plain sleeve with a printed design of ‘authentic looking’ die cut, creasing, sticker & ringwear as if it had come froma studio or bootlegger! The tracklisting on the back gives no real clue as to the purpose of this promotional album, but a look at the inner gives a clue in that it has the Apple iTunes logo and instructions on how to redeem your exclusive promotional code for a digital copy of the album contents. …late entry into the canon of Beatles rarities, but destined to become a biggie as the issue was strictly limited to just 1,000 copies worldwide, with each copy directly mailed to radio stations, so never given away or available for sale & consequently very few leaked from this closed circle of recipients. THE SPECTRES I (Who Have Nothing): Monster Rare 1967 Japanese wide centred 7″ vinyl single, featuring a pre-Status Quo, Francis Rossi (guitar, vocals), Alan Lancaster (bass, vocals), Roy Lynes (keyboards, vocals) & John Coghlan (drums).
