Davie+Jones++The+Kingbees+Liza+Jane+-+Acetate+651454
DAVIE JONES & THE KINGBEES Liza Jane: Mega rare double-sided metal based ultra high-grade methyl cellulose lacquer acetate for the 1978 UK mono 7″ single, the late David Bowie’s very first recording cut when he was just seventeen & originally released on Vocalion in 1964. There is a Decca studio label one side with the printed artist, song title & duration, with annotated stereo/mono & 33/45 indicators. Also features Louie, Louie Go Home. The surface of the acetate is clean & shows merely the lightest few cosmetic scuffs as expected. BEAUTIFUL. Obtained from an ex-industry exec & pressed in extremely small numbers for sonic review, very few of these ever escape the studio & were never intended for general public consumption in this form. This incredible one-off is an amazing, timely find! More info here
