EVERY WHICH WAY / JACKSON HEIGHTS / RARE BIRD / AUDIENCE Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool – 1971 UK flyer for a Charisma Records package tour date in Liverpool on 18th February. Put together by Tony Stratton-Smith, this gig was unusual in that it featured two post-Nice bands in the Charisma-Records-Philharmonic-Hall-640378uncredited Jackson Heights & Brian Davison’s Every Which Way, along with label favourites Rare Earth & Audience, both riding on the crest of a wave at the time. As a point of interest, the original owner haswritten the set lists as played, but only lists Jackson Heights, Every Which Way & Audience, so it is possible that Rare Earth did not play that evening & Jackson Heights were the late replacements with Audience being promoted to headliners. A novel and interesting piece of forty year old memorabilia that is sure to interest anyone interested in the bands themselves or the early moves of Charisma Records
