Incredible Sixties poster, available from our friends at Rockaway in Los Angeles, which was used to help promote the Monterey Pop Festival, a star-studded three-day concert event that took place June 16-18, 1967 at the Monterey County Fairgrounds in Monterey, California.
The festival was organised by record producer and manager Lou Adler with assistance from John Phillips (Mamas & The Papas), John Lennon and Paul McCartney graciously contributed this artwork to help promote the concert…you can find out the full story at Rockaway here
