IT WAS RECORDED for their first album, dropped, forgotten and inevitably bootlegged, now Led Zeppelin are finally giving Sugar Mama a proper release.

The song, recorded in 1968 at Olympic Studios, will feature on the companion disc of the deluxe edition CODA, as part of the latest and final part of the band’s reissue series.

Led Zeppelin’s final album, from 1982, will be re-released on July 31 alongside Presence and In Through The Out Door.

As with the previous deluxe editions, Jimmy Page has remastered all three albums and the band’s vaults have been raided for each record’s bonus disc.

Ahead of the release, Led Zeppelin are streaming Sugar Mama online, so you can listen to it below now for the first time, legitimately that is.

  1. Yank Rachell wrote and recorded “Sugar Farm Blues” in 1934. Led Zeppelin did a contemporary version of it but they didn’t write it..
