DONALD BYRD Royal Flush (Limited Edition 2013 US 6-track stereo double LP mastered from the original analog tape & pressed on 180gram Virgin Vinyl at RTI in Camarillo, CA as part of Music Matters’ ‘Blue Note The Definitive 45RPM Reissue’ series. Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder for Blue Note in 1961, Royal Flush is a lovely early Byrd session performed alongside Pepper Adams, Herbie Hancock, Butch Warren & Billy Higgins. Comes housed in the highest quality gatefold cover which is a heavyweight & deluxe design with a glossy finish & original session photography on the inside. The sleeve is Near Mint & the vinyl discs are Excellent with very little sign of play MMBST-84101).

Keith Tippett Blueprint vinyl LP album (LP record) UK KTGLPBL454361

KEITH TIPPETT Blueprint (1972 UK orange RCA Victor label 6-track stereo LP, starring Roy Babbington [bass], Keith Bailey and Frank Perry [percussion], plus Julie Tippetts on guitar and voice, produced by Robert Fripp at Command for Ronnie Scott Directions Ltd, with strictly no electronics involved – the sounds are acoustic with all music improvised. The front laminated picture sleeve is Excellent with just a little faint, natural age wear & the vinyl remains seldom played. A lovely copy SF8290)

Michael Gibbs Michael Gibbs vinyl LP album (LP record) US MQZLPMI691622

MICHAEL GIBBS Michael Gibbs (1970 US advance issue of the 8-track stereo LP with stock labels, Gibbs’ debut as band leader, with song dedications to John Dankworth, Stan Getz & Gary Burton. The collective personnel includes Kenny Wheeler, Chris Spedding, Jack Bruce, John Surman, Alan Skidmore, Mike Osborne & Tony Oxley – Gibbs’ orchestra served an important service as stepping stone for each one of these revered musicians. The picture sleeve has a large ‘promotional copy’ sticker attached, for review ahead of release & is complete with the catalogue inner. The sleeve [VG+] shows just a little minor scuffing or corner creasing & the vinyl grades VG+/EX- with light cosmetic wear not interfering with play DES18048).
