Latest rare and collectable ’90s vinyl in stock, including Depeche Mode, Kate Bush, Marillion and more

For better or worse, the ‘90s will be remembered for a lot of iconic moments, but mostly it will be for the music. There was the rise of Brit Pop and the battle between Oasis and Blur, Nirvana bringing grunge to the mainstream and influencing an entire generation to wear a plaid shirt, the Spice Girls taking over the world, and Jarvis Cocker’s stage invasion during Michael Jackson’s performance at the Brit Awards.

While music was more popular than virtually any other decade, vinyl was on the decline. CD was the chosen format, rendering cassettes obsolete, and causing vinyl sales to dwindle. Record companies began pressing less and stores rarely stocked anything other than the biggest selling titles. Now, many of the albums of the time are considered collector’s items and sell for premium prices.

We don’t always see that many collections of ‘90s vinyl here, but when we do, you can almost guarantee them to be of a high quality both in condition and content. Below are a few highlights we have in stock, and be sure to keep an eye on our latest arrivals

Depeche Mode – Songs of Faith and Devotion: 1993 UK 10-track vinyl LP, the eighth studio album by English electronic band, including the singles I Feel You, Walking in My Shoes, Condemnation and In Your Room, with illustrated lyric inner and picture sleeve. The sleeve displays light wear, mostly to the edges and the vinyl has just a few light paper scuffs. A nice excellent example of this increasingly hard to find 90s pressing

Kate Bush – The Red Shoes: Rare 1993 UK first press 12-track LP, the seventh studio album by the English musician including Rubberband Girl, glossy picture sleeve with luxury fruit image on the back & illustrated lyric inner. The sleeve is Excellent with very little sign of shelfwear, no splits & just a small pinched crease to a corner. The vinyl appears Near Mint with very few signs of play.

Marillion – Brave: Rare 1994 UK 12-track double vinyl LP, the seventh studio album from the English progressive rock group produced by Dave Meegan. The second side of disc two is double grooved with the first groove playing The Great Escape followed by Made Again; the second groove plays The Great Escape – Spiral Remake and twenty minutes of water noise, housed in a glossy gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics inside. The sleeve displays minimal wear whilst the vinyl has very little evidence of play
